What was initially born out of an industry need to build a diverse and inclusive community among freelancers and to share the collective wisdom from the most experienced women in Television, TV Presenter and CEO, Ria Hebden founded Wonder Women TV in 2017.

Steered by an exceptional advisory board of female leaders, Wonder Women has evolved to become an official Community Interest Company and is proudly impacting social mobility, employability, and diversity and inclusion in Television and the Creative Industries.

Purpose

Wonder Women inspires, empowers, and connects the next generation of diverse, female leaders from all backgrounds and identities, through a unique, intersectional approach, that supports their professional and personal development through a series of live events, an inspirational podcast and year-long, nationwide mentoring programme.

Mission

To elevate diverse women from underrepresented and marginalised groups, who work in Television and the Creative Industries, who are at mid-senior level in their careers.

Through our intersectional approach and executive career development training, our mission is to retain and support the advancement of diverse women into senior leadership positions.
