Afia is a Presenter and highly skilled social media content creator keen to improve the representation of real skin in the media and beauty industry. This has been demonstrated by her acne activism on Instagram via @DontPopThatSpot where she documents her own personal journey and encourages others to embrace their imperfections.

Afia has also co-produced documentaries for LondonLive and The Community Channel and has produced podcasts for Spotify, BBC Sounds, Radio 1, 1Xtra and The Asian Network.

Supporting Wonder Women since 2017, Afia is a much-valued project coordinator of the prestigious Wonder Women TV Mentoring Programme and for all our live events including Wonder Women Live and the Wonder Women Conference.
