Fliss Williams, Line Producer
Fliss is a Senior Line Producer, bringing with her a wealth of experience across production management, leadership and high-level creative decision-making. Her career journey is a masterclass in finding your lane, owning your expertise and building influence in an industry that often overlooks the strategic power of production management.
After studying Media Production Management, Fliss jumped straight into the fast-paced world of Shopping and Quiz TV, quickly cutting her teeth across a range of production roles. By just 24, she had already amassed an impressive and varied CV — from producing and directing the Rovers Return Quiz Night for ITV, to working as a contestant researcher on Deal or No Deal. Along the way, she also experienced roles that didn’t quite fit — including a short stint as a production coordinator that proved invaluable in one key way: it clarified exactly where her strengths, passions and ambitions truly lay.
Fliss realised her real impact sat within production management — building high-performing teams, leading complex productions and, crucially, having top-level conversations with commissioners. These relationships allowed her greater creative influence and the ability to shape content at a strategic level, proving that production management is not just logistical, but deeply creative and powerful.
In this Power Session, Fliss shares honest insights into navigating career pivots, stepping into leadership early, and using your role to gain influence, visibility and control over the stories being told. Expect practical advice, real-world perspective and the kind of behind-the-scenes knowledge that only comes from lived experience.
