Wonder Women Live
Each year, the great and the good of the TV industry come together for Wonder Women Live! The annual women’s networking event, which brings diverse women who work in Television and the Creative Industries together, to celebrate International Women’s Day; make new connections and hear from four phenomenal women as they reflect on their careers.
Hosted by TV Presenter, Ria Hebden last year’s industry trailblazers on the panel included; BBC Studios Comedy, Executive Producer Madeline Addy, CEO, The Garden Nicola Hill, Broadcaster & Journalist, Lorraine Kelly CBE and CEO, Nevision Anne Morrison who discussed the importance of having sponsors to get ahead in your career; fighting imposter syndrome and knowing your worth.
On the subject of race and class, Wonder Women TV Founder & TV Presenter, Ria Hebden commented:

Depressingly, despite women making up 51% of the industry, there’s clear evidence that confirms the gender, ethnicity, disability, and class pay gaps still remain. Reflecting on industry bias and institutional barriers that can hold working mothers in TV back, Lorraine Kelly CBE said;

Audiences heard an empowering and motivating keynote speech from CEO, Nevision & award-winning Executive Producer, Anne Morrison who encouraged women to;

Talking about leadership and her achievements as a female leader, former Joint-CEO, Nicola Hill of The Garden shared;

Attendees are then immersed into a structured power-networking session with the panellists to support them making new connections and expanding their networks.
